No keyboard for google login

I changed my google password on my desktop yesterday. When I started the 2025 Equinox, google told me I had to log in with the new password. No matter what I did I could not bring up a keyboard to log in with. I then tried to have it send a verification code to my phone which I received but again no keyboard to type in the code. Any ideas out there?

The only thing you should of had to do was tap the little magnifying glass. Mine is in the upper right corner but maybe yours is in a different spot.

A day after I posted the no key board issue I performed an OTA update. If showed successfully completed. When I started the vehicle the transmision would not shift out of park and the engine light was on. After sitting for about 15 minutes the transmission problem was gone but the check engine light remained on. It had to be towed to my dealer and they reperformed the update.
This fixed the check engine light and I know have a keyboard. 2025 Equinox LT. 1,218 KM or 756 miles. I have never noticed a magnifying glass but will check that out. Thanks for the tip.

I've been through all of this by now. If there is no log in screen try pressing the Onstar blue button. My guess is that it won't connect. Mine hasn't connected in two months. You have to take it to the dealership but chances are they can't fix it. There is a problem with the Onstar communication module and it has to be replaced. Even if the blue OS button works your module is probably still bad. It might at some point give you a login screen but it will disconnect again.
