My Chevrolet App flakiness

I'm on the Onstar Connected Access and OnStar Basics plans that came with my 2025 Equinox and are good through 11/29/2032. Up until yesterday the My Chevrolet app was a useful piece of software. However, this evening I went to use it and for a brief second I saw the old screen where I could lock/unlock, remote start, etc. options showed. After that "flash" of my old screen it has now been replaced with ads for Onstar Shop Plans, Maintenance Milestones which when clicking on Vehicle Status it just had a box asking for my Odometer reading where it used to have information about my tires, fuel, etc. I closed and reopened the same thing. I completely uninstalled the app and reinstalled and the same thing. This was all about an hour ago. I went back into the app just before typing this and same thing. Then in the course of typing this message and pulling up screens to get the above details right it suddenly switched back to the previous layout with my start, lock/unlock, and additional controls options. Vehicle status is now as it was before as well. Not sure what happened. At first I thought they were going to remove all of these options unless I was paying for one of their plans.

So I now seem to be back to normal and wondered if anyone else has had this happen?

Yes, the app is useless now. I just went through what you have done but have not had it revert to the old layout.

After reading this post, I checked my Chevrolet app. I have three Chevrolet vehicles connected to the app, but rarely use the app.

The app has changed dramatically and is now confusing and difficult to use.

Don’t you love computer programmers who change things for the sake of change, and make it more difficult to understand and use.

Yeah, just absolutely irritates me when they "freshen" up an app and it quits working. I get it, Android or IOS make changes and you have to adjust the app for the changes, but can you at least try to run some testing outside of the sterile programming lab to ensure it works.

Well I managed to get it figured out. With the update they log you out of the app. Loggin back in was to an email that I do not use on my phone. So user error on that one. Works as it should now.
