Hi Me caveman! Me ungabunga. Lol ok for real thought. My name's Cody and I am in need of some guidance involving my mother's 2017 2.4.... specifically the pcv side of things. (Sorry for some reason I can't get the picture to upload) it's a picture peaking through the intake manifold... There is a significant amount of oil/water! Which I've noticed that the pcv seems to be just a hollow tube with an elbow directed back into the intake.... No filter! just open space! Would it be beneficial to install a catch can right there? Inside the intake manifold isnt just a bit damp.. there's a puddle at each port! With it being a direct injected engine adds to the anxiety.
