I just installed update V662.20. I was notified of availability on July 24th, 2026. After the update completed, I get the following message at vehicle start: "Lane Change Alert System Off". I verified that it shows as turned on in my vehicle settings. I also verified that it's NOT working now.

One of the changes in this update is "Improvements to the performance of driver assistance features".

Anyone else encounter this issue? :(

A day or so I was notified of a new update for our 2025 Equinox RS AWD. I’m not sure of the number, as I am not near the car.

I installed it and received a notification that it was successful.

A week or so prior, another update was installed OTA. My wife said the front warning alert would activate with nothing close to the vehicle and several times the emergency braking system activated with nothing in front of the vehicle. After the latest update (above), the warning and false braking stopped.

When I restarted the car after the latest update, various HVAC controls were changed and the heat turned on. The radio screen was changed. The incoming cell phone notification box was changed and moved from the center screen, to the main driver screen, with new actions required to use it.

I hate updates that change various features.

GM should be required to provide a written explanation of all changes (and how to operate any new features) for OTA updates, that would be mailed and emailed to the owner. The updates are clearly a repair under the new car warranty (in my case) and an invoice should be provided by GM.

Perhaps call up the lane change feature setting and turn it off, then on?

I have had previous OTA updates to my 2024 Tahoe Premier that turned features off or on, from what I had set. I had to turn the feature on or off in the settings menu, then set it to what I wanted.
