My muffler split so I found a newish sst muff at junkyard for $25. It lasted 6-7 yrs and the inlet pipe on side of muff snapped off. Muff body was ok. The pipe broke at weld. Got another muff at same junkyard. Seems it was $30 now? I used a band clamp for $8 on amazon and all is well.
The muff is $25 but the “s” inlet pipe is $8 more. It’s a welded system. Duh
