Anyone know where I can find an Evap system diagram for an 2005 Equinox?
I keep popping a P0455 code and I tried smoking it today with a DIY smoker.... The smoker worked great, but could not find an obvious leak. I did however noticed there is a "vent" on the gas cap side under the wheel well... As soon as I replaced the gas cap to allow smoke to circle the whole system the smoke starting coming out of this "vent". I looked under the car and it seems it goes to the gas tank? This is why I need a diagram.... Any takers? Does this vent gets closed off when the car is running via a relay of sorts or is it just open like this all the time? If is is open like this how does the ECM know the difference from a leak if this vent is open?
