2023 RS Model: Pads and breaking parts in good condition but still getting squealing

Took my 2023 RS into the shop yesterday to have the breaks inspected because they've been squealing on and off for a little while. Pads, rotors, calipers are all in good condition and they were very clean. This particular model has the new electric hydraulic system. Anyone with the same year/model having the same issue?

If you can't do it yourself, I'd pay a known good shop to do a "brake service" for you, which entails disassembling, removing rust, cleaning and re-lubing your existing brake parts. This used to be a ~$100 job for all 4 corners. It's probably double that now. If you live deep in the rust belt, this typically will double your pad and rotor life. I see you are not in the rust belt.

I'll look into that. The mechanic did say he and his supervisor looked the brakes and rotors over good and they were immaculate but I'm wondering if, like @Vern suggested, there might be a small piece of debris lodged in one of the pads that the mechanics missed.

I'm going to take it in again and see what they think. If it was a very small contaminate, the mechanic and his supervisor might have missed it. They did say the components were surprisingly immaculate and the discs very thick. Do you think that the automatic car wash tire treatment might also be causing some issues? I had them turn that option off on their machine the other day and will continue to make that request.

Unlikely that the car wash has anything to do with it. If the car is under original B2B warranty, the dealer should fix this for free. As mentioned, lubing the sliding parts and making sure the anti-vibration clips are installed properly and in good shape should do it, along with a thorough inspection for a little stone etc.
