2020 Chevy Equinox headlamps issue

Greetings, recently got a 2020 Chevy Equinox and I noticed that the headlamps will come on in auto mode when its getting dark out/is dark out however when I turn the knob to turn on the headlights they will not go on. What could possibly be the issue? Currently the vehicle has 19,300 miles on it and kinda stumped right now. Any help pr suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The switch would be my first guess, but it isn't cheap. I can't find the wiring diagram. If you had it you could test the switch with a multi meter.
