I purchased a 2012 equinox LTZ 18 months ago and it has been a nightmare. I bought it with 37,000 Km on it (Canada) 6 months later the transfer case started leaking fixed under warranty, 3 months later the battery and oxygen sensor cops out, just a month ago the oxygen sensor goes out again. Dealer says it may a rich running problem but they can't find the problem (3.0 V6 engine). Just a week ago I heard a thunking noise coming from the front end brought it into the dealer and they told me it was the strut. Now this is the first time I've ever had a strut go bad at only 48,000 miles. I bought the total plus extended warranty when I bought the car but apparently struts aren't covered, go figure and thank you GM!
Has anyone else had this strut problem? Thank in advance.
Not very happy with this equinox and probably the last GM vehicle that I buy..
