2008 'Nox dome light switch

I need to replace the driver side dome light switch on my 2008 Equnox.The only problem is I can't find it.I've looked on the door and door jamb and can't find anything that looks like a traditional switch.

if im not wrong it is inside of the door you have to take the doore apart to find it. its in all new cars now like that
