Hi All new user here this is my first post on the forum.
I have an 07 Equinox LT AWD with the following problem.
Both my front heated seats fail to come on and the service airbag message appears in the DIC section of the dash.
If i do not have a passenger i do not have either problem, this seems to only happen when i have a passenger sitting in the front passenger seat.
I am a retired electronic engineer so i have advanced knowledge in electrical systems I am hoping someone else has had this issue and can point to the defective part that is used in both the airbag and seat heater circuits. It seems weird that the seat heaters would be related to the airbags but that seems to be the case in the truck.
