All the rest is in the car. At the garage when we do this, we have a machine that connect to the thermostat and one hose on the outlet to the radiator. Basicaly, the new fluid push on the old so in about 20 minutes you have a system full of new prestone.
The auto part stores sell a plastic T you can put into the heater hose line to flush it out with a garden hose, they're only around 5 bucks or so. Figured this might help you out.
