I had that happen on my 06 Ford Freestyle. Aluminum may not rust but it certainly corrodes and bubbles if the paint gets chipped off. This happens quicker and worse in snow and salt air states.
I would change them. I am a PM junkie though. I would feel I was rewarding the car for 100,000 miles and giving it a good start towards its 2nd 100,000 miles.

Apparently you don't live in an area with bumper to bumper traffic. Multiple stop starts every couple of minutes cannot be good for a starter or battery / subsystems. The problem would be of more concern for those of us that buy our cars and intend to keep them for years.
If it's an AWD, The transfer case fluid needs to be changed. My son neglected his (After I told him about it) and it failed after about 80,000 miles. It's a very expensive part to replace.
