Hello all,

I have a '21 Premier. Twice now but not close together, our windows were down with the doors locked when I know for certain that they were up before. Both times have been during an remote start. Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks,

Chad

I don't know if this answers your question, but if you use the remote to unlock the doors there is a feature that lowers all 4 windows. If you push the unlock button twice, and hold it down on the second push, all four windows will lower. It is a feature for letting hot air out when parking outside in the summer.

My daughter's 2019 Equinox has remote start, but it seems to work from time to time. Don't quite understand why it usually doesn't work. On my 2022 Escalade, its just hit the remote start button twice. As for your Premier, I'd look at setting options as implied by Spartanfool.

There have been times on my '19 Premier that the windows have been rolled down, yet I know I didn't leave them all rolled down. The problem for me apparently arises when my key fob is in my pocket and something else in my pocket presses against the remote button long enough when in proximity to my Nox, that rolls the windows down. So basically, I try not to keep anything in my pocket with my key fob and try not to lean up against anything with my fob in my pocket. My master bathroom is in close proximity to my garage, so that's when it's happened to me. Also, you only have to press and hold the unlock button on the key fob once (for about 3-5 seconds) for this feature to function, not twice and hold as stated in a previous post. You can disable the windows down feature in the settings on your infotainment screen. Under Settings; Remote Lock, Unlock, Start; Remote Window Operation; set it to off to disable the "feature".

You can disable the remote window feature in the vehicle menu in the infotainment system. And I believe it is pressing and holding the unlock button tat rolls the windows down, not pressing twice. Pressing twice unlocks all doors if you have drive only selected for single button unlocking.
