Will Equinox receive Built in Android upgrade to version 14?

I've read that the Equinox EV's are receiving a Google Built in Android update from 12 to 14. However, I don't see anything related to the gas powered versions getting an update any time soon.

Anyone here of this update coming to non EV models?

That or else have the maps app on the Equinox to look modern like my phone maps. I always thought Maps would be an app but it's part of the built in setup.

my maps seem to be that of my newer android phone but I'm using Android Auto--if that makes a difference. I noticed recently (new to 2026 Eq LT) that when I add the map to my driver screen, it's different than what's on the head unit screen.

I normally use the Android Auto Maps as that's constantly updated.

It seems to me that since Maps is integrated into Android Automotive, there's no app update.

I'm also thinking that it will be a dealer only upgrade too
