I may be the only one here with a Sport, but if not
can someone please tell me the bolt size that holds
it in place? One of them as fallen out. (Explain that)

I lost one too this september. I found it behind the tailgate shocks, if i remember well, it was M8 ... I'm not sure between M8 and M10. For the lenght it was 1.5''


I've putted a little bit of lock tite, no problem since that !

Found a replacement or the old one ?

Spent an hour with guy at Fastenal finding
what I needed only to get home and find a
bolt in my stash that was closer to correct.

Would it be worth while to hit all the screws and bolts with lock tite?

For sure it worth it. But for myself I've only donw the two screws that are visible. Two of them are hidden under plastic plugs inside the tailgate frame so I don't think they will have problem.

Good you found a replacement! I keep two spare in the trunk just in case lol
