Just got back from a 4360 mile round trip from Kentucky to Arizona. I had the dealer do the timing thing change thing a month ago. The Equinox ran like a champ. It did occasionally have to run the rpm up to 5000 in the higher altitude and upward climb in New Mexico and Arizona. The car was loaded to the hilt and there were two of us and a dog. The mileage fluctuated between 19 and 27 mpg. Did not use a drop of oil. The oil went from 90% to 32% on the trip. The car now has a little over 44k. I couldn't be happier. This Equinox has been one fine ride from day 1. David
