I use the button on the outside of the lift-gate.For some reason I keep forgetting there a button on the inside of the driver door.About the only time the hands free feather gets used is when washing the car with the fob in my pocket I will accidentally trigger the sensor.My wife's 2025 Blazer has the same setup for the lift-gate. The only difference is the lighted bow tie symbol that shines on the ground when I'm near the back of the vehicle with the fob in my pocket.</blockquote>
