I wanted the dark blue Premier originally but hated the wheels that came with it. The redline edition was the only version that had wheels I liked, but Redline wasn’t available on either of the Blue models they offered (medium and dark blue).  I ended up liking the gray model with the redline package a lot so I bought it. I had done some research earlier on the Chevy website and knew that Redline omitted the hands free lift gate.  I also confirmed it with the dealer in person and it was shown as an included feature on the window sticker of other Premiers they had in stock that weren’t Redline, but not shown on the Redline window sticker. So I knew I wasn’t getting it with Redline and now I kinda regret it just a little over 2 years later.  I could’ve used it so many times and got my own aftermarket wheels that I liked.  Now, the thing I keep pondering when looking at the wiring schematic for my Equinox, could I buy the necessary hands free lift gate parts and add it myself? It’s just a sensor mounted to the bottom of the vehicle and it’s not very expensive from the GM parts website.  It appears that the wiring harness is there for it but they just left that plug empty/open.  But then I can’t find anything about the Chevy bowtie logo that’s supposed to be projected on the ground showing you where to kick under the vehicle to hit the sensor in the right spot. I don’t really need the projected logo if installing the sensors myself would work.  I’d learn where to kick and remember it each time.  I’m sure a dealer would tell me it’s not possible, but I’m not so sure looking at those wiring schematics.</p></blockquote><p></p>
