I just recently acquired a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox LS 1.5T with just over 53000 miles on it. I am brand new to the Equinox lineup and have questions about certain features on the vehicle. I have what looks like HUD in my dashboard but I am unable to activate it due to the absence of the switch. Is there a setting that I am missing?

Congrats on the purchase. The HUD is only a warning when you close in on a car at a rate the system feels will cause an accident. It flashes red LEDs on the windshield. This will also slow the car if you have cruise control on.
You can pretend it's head's up display just to make the drive more interesting.

Yeah, the apparent HUD on these cars is a bit deceiving. I was excited to have HUD, until I realized it really wasn't. But the first time those red triangles light up in front of you, it will definitely grab your attention.

Let's hope the same is true for the 2024's.
I'm sure they will. One of the unknowns is the new 8spd. Other than that, the other complaints I've read of on them are all info/entertainment related.Let's hope the same is true for the 2024's.
