But I wanted to share for those looking to install after market fog lights a little bit of insight.I have a 2024 Equinox LS 3rd gen, and hated the fact it didn't have fog lights and waited a year and some before I finally came across a set that looked sharp and stock. I'll do my best to post below a bit of info as far as the install goes. Keep in mind I have tiny hands, and the driver side was tight to work on.[ATTACH=full]3437[/ATTACH]So the tools I used was mainly t15 for removing the screws from the wheel well cover to pull back and access the FL covers. And the 7mm socket for the rest of the light housing install. (The kit to the right has been a life saver because you can make it as tiny or as long as needed to get into awkward spaces and ratchet away!) (Got it on Amazon)[ATTACH=full]3434[/ATTACH]So once the wheel well cover was pulled back I popped the side marker light out to make a bit of space. I tried to get pictures of the 4 bolts to remove the FL Cover so you know where to look. (Circled in orange) [ATTACH=full]3435[/ATTACH]The two inner bolt head screws once the fog light assembly goes in are going to invisible, especially with the windshield washer reservoir in the way. So with my tiny hands and that little ratchet was the only way I was able to screw the assembly in.[ATTACH=full]3436[/ATTACH]Anyway once the FL cover is removed and you remove the two tabs holding the wiring, your just going to take your time slowly sliding the assembly in to the space from the wheel well, at that point I used the front opening in the bumper to pop the two tabs into the foglight assembly before seating it and securing it in place.(Originally did the passenger side first but the driver side was harder so most install interior images are from driver side) (thought about making this thread after I did passenger lol)[ATTACH=full]3438[/ATTACH]Anyway, on to how I ran the wiring!So while I had both fog light assemblies installed, I seen a good space following another wiring line to the right of the fuse box, in front of the battery, and to the left of the windshield washer reservoir and was able to pop them straight down. (Zip tying it to the other harness just to secure it, after ran) [ATTACH=full]3439[/ATTACH]As I pulled it through, wondering how I was going to get the line to the passenger side, I figured the easiest way was to unscrew the cover from the bottom and run it along to the otherside. Which saved headaches and took minutes.[ATTACH=full]3440[/ATTACH]And boom! We're out on the passenger side and plugged in![ATTACH=full]3441[/ATTACH]Secured the plug in place, screwed the bottom panel back on and reinstalled the side marker and closed up the wheel well on the passenger side. Then went and repeated the same on the driver side. Assemblies installed, and wires ran to both ready for power! [ATTACH=full]3442[/ATTACH]Now I'm not going to go into wiring everything up, that's gonna depend on your kit or if you even go with these lights. This kit does come with a switch is the way I decided to go, as I don't want to tap into any wires or void any warrantees. But I'll point you in the direction of where the firewall gromet is located (took me forever to find it when I wanted to run my Kicker Slim Sub last year).To be continued.... ran out of picture posting room!</blockquote>
