It will if you turn on ERS, up shift to 7th and then 8th with 0 throttle. I've found it won't if road speed is above 70. But the trick is throttle position at 0%. You can't be accelerating. It's a goofy set up. Once in 8th the thing will run along fine. Set the cruise at 70 - 72 and it will run 8th gear all day long. On a recent trip it got 34 + mpg. Ran in 8th all the way.</p></blockquote><p></p>
