Activ Tire Pressure?

My current tire pressures left to right, front to back are 38/38/41/39 in a warm garage. MyChevy app suggests 35. Should I adjust to that for my 2025 Activ?

I typically put 3 psi over recommended during cold weather (cold reading), and 0-2 psi over cold during warm weather.

You are the first owner on this forum that didn't complain about the door sticker calling for 41 PSI in all 4 tires. If the sticker calls for 35psi then go with that.

Activ’s are the only ones using 35. No reason for anyone to complain what the other trims specify, unless they just like to argue.

The 25s have the drag coefficient of a refrigerator. Hence the 6psi increase from previous gens.

Wow... Quite lively over a tire pressure question. It's an Equinox, a passenger SUV. We're not racing or taking someone to court. LOL.

I would go with manufacturer cold PSI. Now, if you think you're going to really improve your mileage, and you don't mind a little more tire harmonics getting into the cabin while you drive... Then you can run a little more tire pressure (3 to 5 psi).

I'm on the other side of the spectrum, I like comfort and quiet ride. I leave it at factory recommended tire pressure.

If you live in an area of extreme cold during the winter for over a month, you can certainly offset your tire pressure by as much as 10 psi.

Tires can run higher pressures. The issue comes up with getting "uneven" tire wear. Overinflation tends wear less on the perimeters of the tire, and decreases traction (smaller contact patch).

The tire pressure placard on my 2025 Equinox RS AWD specifies 35 psi for the road tires (not the spare).
