Message: <blockquote data-quote="Sewtrapped" data-source="post: 29947" data-attributes="member: 11562"><p>Thanks, Lee.  I didn't download the actual manual but did use My Chevrolet app and searched for liftgate and indeed there's a lot of info there.  I did read about the different scenarios of when it senses the fob.  There's a lot more to it than just sensing the fob when it's near for sure.  Thanks to all who helped!  I could just turn it off but I rather like the feature.  I do find it strange that sometimes I walk into garage with my fob and I hear some sort of electrical motor switch on near the driver side passenger door.  But that sound doesn't happen every time.  Was wondering if that had something to do with the hatch getting ready to see me if I walk to the rear.  But I know it's just a quirk and the Eq is just doing what it does....</p></blockquote><p></p>
