After hooked up I just put the shifter in neutral and push the button to kill the engine but of course the engine dies but the radio keeps playing because the switch is in Access mode. I then disconnect the battery. I have a simple knife style switch on the battery. When I unhook from MH I reconnect the battery and start the engine and yes it says roll down the window. I do not have a charge line to the battery it cannot go dead if it is not hooked up. This is no different than if you had to replace the battery.  I have a separate line from the MH to service the brake control; system.</p></blockquote><p></p>
