You're not supposed to do that on the Equinox.  You're supposed to use the ground stud that for to apply the negative terminal to that being said when I try to start my car after the tech assured me over and over again that nothing would be happening. My negative terminal started to smoke, my alternator started to smoke. My battery post was hot while during that time during that old  Get down what happened is he burned my battery current sensor and now that's the problem.I have to replace it. After\nContacting AAA and filing a complaint for damages, they are not accepting the responsibility for the damages, and they are projecting their faults off onto the towing company that they contract with. It's called California coach towing, who they are also not accepting their responsibility because the service tech insisted that the jumper box would not send an overcharge through my battery, but evidence now says otherwise so I will be going after them. I've been on work for 23 days I've missed  2 jobs for so much money already.I get paid Uber $45 an hour, and I really need to get this going.So I found the battery current sensor on amazon for twenty dollars and I'll be replacing it as soon as it gets here</p></blockquote><p></p>
