I did the O2 sensor. If you look at this thread I had to get the timing chain replaced also about 10k down the road. I think it was the cause.

I did. But I could get no one on any Equinox forum to help me interpret my O2 sensor readings.
I tried an O2 sensor change just to see if it would help, but that did not work. Everything that I have read has told me that A P0420 code 99 percent of the time means bad converter. In this case...

Anyone have the procedure for this?
I am looking for procedure, torque, and what gaskets I would need.
