Used driveshaft

Took out driveshaft and my vibration went away. Center bearing is fine. Seems tight. Found a used drive shaft at junkyard for $25. Might as well try it. Has return policy so it’s only my time. Seems to drive ok now.
Always had a center console vibration. But no shake/shimmy on road. Few months ago I started feeling a vibration on road. Went away after I removed driveshaft. I’m going to get rid of suv so I figure an installed driveshaft might be good.

The u-joint failed and you have to remove u-joint to then remove carrier bearing. Bit of a pain. I’ve heard you can replace the staked u-joint if ur talented. Bit of work.
