They are a little tricky to set up. Most of the time if you have a remote you've been using you can use it to transfer the code to the Equinox system. Just access the set up in the settings on the display, select add, and hold the remote, button pressed, by the mirror for about 10 seconds. The system will take you through a test function to see if it accepts it. Some "public" systems are protected and can't be copied as you're trying to do. If there is a learn button on the door opener you may have to use it if the above fails. I have 5 garage doors programmed and it works fine. I have a 2025 RS. Third Equinox. So far it's a been pretty good. It was one of the first ones built so it's had it's quirks but we're working through them just fine.</p></blockquote><p></p>
