There are 4 microphones, two on each side above the doors. There is a service bulletin on them; how to test, etc. The issue was the mic's were not placed properly which set up kind of a feedback sound like a howl or rumble. My 2025 RS had the problem. It was really loud. Turns out the mic's were ok but the programming in the cabin module was corrupted. The dealer downloaded an updated version; problem solved. Very quiet now.
