Here's an article about the dashboard glare for 24 & 25 EVs. It's covered under warranty. Not sure if they extended it to 26s. Call the dealer, reference this GM bulletin (25-NA-069) and ask. They told me GM part is $70
plus installation. If I had to pay for it, I'd look on Amazon and buy one for $40 and install it myself. The part should come with instructions. Anyone can do it. It's about a 30 minute (or less) job.
GM Releases Fix For Chevy Equinox EV Dashboard Glare

Many Chevy Equinox EV owners have reported an obstructive glare from their crossover’s dashboard that can cause visibility issues. It’s been reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and there are multiple aftermarket solutions addressing the issue. Now, GM has an official fix for the Equinox EV glare problem.
The fix isn’t complicated; it’s just a dash mat with a GM part number. GM bulletin 25-NA-069 addresses the dashboard glare in the 2024-2025 Chevy Equinox EV by prescribing part number 86279931 for models without a head-up display (HUD) and 86279932 for models with the optional HUD. Curiously, the new service bulletin from GM doesn’t address the 2026 Chevy Equinox EV, which began production earlier this month.
