I have had a '24 Equinox LT for about 3 1/2 weeks Previous vehicle was a '15 Trax LT. I transferred a thumb drive with MP3 coded music from the Trax to the equinox. the music works fine when I activate the USB on the screen.
Sometimes I press and hold the power button on the Equinox to shut off the USB. The screen shows something that basically says 'music is turned off'.' then, once in a while, i turn the Equinox on. The USB system will automatically start playing a song that was not the last song that was previously playing. I don't understand. If the audio was off, why would it restart? and restart with a different tune? No apparent rhyme or reason to when it happens and what song is cancelled/played next. a bit of an unpleasant jolt at 5 AM.
