FOLLOW UP... So this is strange. Bear with me on this and let me explain then I’ll give my opinion. We took my wife’s 2023 Equinox back to the dealer she bought it from, that is an hour away. We were going by there anyway on a short vacation. We have a local GM dealer but the person that called my wife from the dealership said, the dealer we purchased it from should do the work. Remember this comment. He also said this would all be covered. Well, we picked it up on a Sunday as that’s what worked for us (service is closed on Sunday’s). We don’t see a fuel pump replacement, but we do see the ECM was reprogrammed. Drove it home, seems the same. Maybe a bit zippier, her car has always been a dog on acceleration. We called the dealer service department this morning (Monday) to get more specifics.
