Message: <blockquote data-quote="PoManNox" data-source="post: 22324" data-attributes="member: 8300"><p>On my 2021 Equinox and 2021 Traverse, all it took to disable the awful auto stop/start system was a $10 hood switch bypass harness mail-ordered off the amazon machine.  You can get them from eBay and other sources as well.  Super easy 2 min fix.    The 'hood open' message still works if you have the hood up, no check engine light, remote start still works, etc.   I believe auto stop/start is the cause of lots of long term issues these vehicles have.</p></blockquote><p></p>
