Because of the power brake loss and a possible need to brake hard occurring at the same time? The brakes don't stop working when the engine stops. It just takes more force on the brake pedal to stop and in a panic stop I would be pressing as hard as I could on the pedal, power brakes or not.Can you share some details so that others can check their vehicles?Which engine?
