Message: <blockquote data-quote="PoManNox" data-source="post: 25862" data-attributes="member: 8300">On the 2018+, there is an electronic axle disconnect on the transfer case.   When you press the AWD button, this actuator meshes the front right axle such that it will send power through the transfer case, which will then liven up and send power to the prop shaft to the rear carrier/differential.    Power to the rear wheels only happens on demand.  There is an electronic wet clutch at the input of the rear carrier/diff.  If the front wheels spin out of sync with the rears, the wet clutch is what sends power to the rear wheels as needed.Based on what you described, my first guess with the vibes and noise is something is up with the propeller shaft to the rear.  Bad u joint.  Bad carrier bearing, etc</blockquote>
