I've already replaced the ball joint/LCA, cv axle and the bearings were bad so those too. The inner and outer tie rods are good, nearly new. I removed tie rod from steering knuckle to shake and test the rack and pinion and it's fine. The clacking happens not just when steering but also when you hit the brakes and gun the gas. I reached my arm up from under the rack and shook the steering column too. Got any ideas? Frame subframe bushings are good too</p></blockquote><p></p>
