There's also USB power only cables I suspect will work if wanting something more direct for devices that are already USB. I still haven't decided what to do for my needs with a laptop where 40W won't cut it. Anyone needing closer to the 10amps most of those 12v systems provided (to support typical 100W needs) is just out of luck for front options I guess short of some of the other options proposed here. I'm leaning towards a car audio specialist to mount a higher wattage power block though the firewall.</p></blockquote><p></p>
