I have a samilar issue with my Equinox at work. Sometimes the hatch will not unlatch, but if I try to unlatch it while the vehicle is running, it always works.
The dealership needed my vin to track down the part. The old part dragged on the freeway so it's shorter. But it was easy to install once I removed a few screws/bolts from the fender liner and air deflector
This part goes on the front of passenger side fender liner. It was broken off in an accident. You can see the missing bolts on the fender liner of where this part goes. What is this part, or part number? Some of the part is missing.
