    Fiji Honeymoon Pictures

So I had to sell my motorcycle for extra honeymoon cash, but it was worth it. Here's a few of my fav pics from our time in Fiji. (We stayed on Tokoriki Island and also Taveuni Island.) FYI, we got eloped and skipped having a wedding to afford a better honeymoon. Our families are...

    OBS speakers

I'd recommend chatting online or calling Crutchfield. I was surprised by how much they knew when I needed help years ago installing a system.

    Supercharger.

Please keep us updated on your progress. I had an '01 Grand Prix GTP for 10 years and I really miss the boost. I doubt I'd ever get around to doing it on my nox but I'd like to live vicariously through you. :)

    Intakes for 3.0 V6

I had a K&N open cone filter in my old Grand Prix 3.8L supercharged. I'm not sure if it made much more power, but the sound was nice. A simple open cone might be a good option for us. My '12 also has the LFA 3.0L V6. Although a CAI or fender well type setup would be better for extra HP or mileage.

    Brake Rotors Turned.

That's what I was thinking. It seems like most manufacturers have 75 to 100 in the owner's manual. I've been reading that re-surfacing the rotors is not necessary unless you do have vibration like you stated. My '01 Grand Prix went 105k miles with the original rotors with perfect braking...

    A/C Freezes up

Could it be that the cabin air filter is clogged up? How many miles do you have? My cabin filter was full of leaves and bugs at just 28k miles.

    Hi-Beam Bulbs

You can access the high beam through that circular access panel in the wheel well liner. First remove the dust cap that covers the low beam bulb to give yourself more room to work. Then just reach in past the low beam and feel for the high beam dust cap.

    Front brake work

For the caliper compressor, just pick up a multi-purpose "C" clamp. I got mine from Harbor Freight tools for just a few bucks. Oh, and some new cars do have those stupid Allen head caliper bolts. I helped a friend with a Ford Escape. We had to hunt in several stores for a 7mm hex head socket...

    Oil Change Uh-Oh

I'm sure we've all done mistakes like that. Don't beat yourself up. I had two incidents with my Yamaha R6 motorcycle. Once I filled the tank with diesel and didn't make it very far. :( The second time I oiled the air filter too much and it barely ran. Cost a pretty penny for new plugs...

    Oil Filter Shootout

I've been using SuperTech oil and filters on our cars and family cars for a long time with no problems. Although it seems like the ST filters are no longer sold, at least in the stores around here. So now I use Purolator filters.

Question regarding the "Nox" in snow

We just took our nox to Big Bear Lake (right after the incident with that crazy cop) and it did great in the small amount of snow/ice we drove over. I bought some really nice Thule "premium" snow chains, but never got a chance to use them. Hopefully next year. :)
