I'm guessing the "fix" is relegated to the new '25 model year where GM is now using a CVT for FWD version and an 8 speed for AWD. Though someone with a Terrain voiced the same problem so the 9 speed in the Terrain didn't help (although he did say it only occurs below freezing).
I'm wondering if those of you who have 19" rims (and 235x50 tires) on recent model year Equinox could comment on handling/road noise characteristics. Thank You in advance.
I agree! GM should do with the current Equinox/Terrain what Mazda has done with the CX-5. People still love that car and Mazda sells a lot of them. Meanwhile, the CX-50 (which was to replace the CX-5) sells well too. I'm seriously in the market for a 2024 Terrain/Equinox. Just can't bring myself...
Thanks Chris! Hard to tell from photos. I guess I'd prefer monotone maple sugar. I find lighter color interiors easier on my eyes as it makes items easier to find. Since I really want the driver assist options available on the Premium I'll have to live with the maple sugar/jet black combo.
Anyone have a later model Equinox with the Jet/Black and Maple Sugar interior? If so how is it wearing with you? Are you loving or hating it. Also, what exterior color is on the car and does it go well with the interior?
Thanks in advance.
Thank You Hey Vern! I appreciate your observations. At my stage of my life I see only disadvantages in sun roofs. Please elaborate on traction. Are you referring to front tire spin when you accelerate from a dead stop in cases where awd is not engaged?
Thanks! Whoa, I did not think about the wife -once again! (please don't tell her). I'm thinking I could use them as I'm finding it increasingly difficult to get into and out of my current SUV due to bad arthritis in both knees. Your wife does have a point though. If you choose not use them...
Anyone have any experience with "molded assist steps" on the the 3rd Gen Equinox. Formerly known as "running boards" back in the day. They are available as part of the "hit the road" package and I believe separately as well.
Hello All!
I am seriously considering the purchase of a new or certified Equinox w/AWD (due to climate where I live) and I hope to learn from all of you the ins and outs of the vehicle and the importance (or lack thereof) of various options. Thank You in advance and have a great day!:)
