If anyone out there is still interested in tuning their gm 3.0 SIDI. Lots of potential. I just finished my preliminary ecu and tcm tunes. Tuned the ecu for 93 octane and the torque management tables were tweaked nicely. So far very happy with the tune. What's bothering me is the stupid K&n CAI...
Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I don't see much action in these forums so this may be a long shot. I purchased a 2010 LT v6 FWD. Seriously lacking in bottom end and only mild in the upper end. I ordered a tune a day have received the blackbear unit but before I begin the logging has...
Looks to me like the PCV return hose, however the broken part may actually be a part of the throttle body. Just go to a Chevy dealer and walk through the part with them, they have blown up diagrams of every part.
Your vehicle really needs to plugged into a scantool capable of reading and logging sensor information while putting the vehicle into the same scenario to reproduce the problem.
A dirty O2 sensor would affect all driving conditions not just in reverse. Normal operation of an O2 sensor is to...
Reviewing the Transmission shift lever schematics on diyalldata.com. The connector is a 6 pin connector that looks like a U. On the right side of the U is pin 1. Pin 3 is the signal wire for the tap up/down for manual shifts. If you are handy check the pin and wire to see if anything is...
The washer resevoir is within the front bumper. Take the front bumper off to get easier access to the pump underneath the bottle.
To remove the front bumper cover open the hood.
Remove the plastic retainer clips on either side of the front finishing panels and flip the finishing panels back...
For petes sake take the car into the dealer for repair service. The sunroof should not be leaking and if it is the drain should be outside the vehicle not down the pillar and inside. I can only assume the drain pipe has not been connected properly.
TPMS sensor batteries should last about 10 years. Did you rotate your wheels recently? It definitely is possible that the TPMS sensors are defective, however try the relearn procedure prior to assuming replacement is necessary.
I can imagine. I'll bet most of the expense has to do with changing out the radio climate control panel. Or does the kit have some sort of auto switch built in?

Nice. Welcome to the fine wine forum. We allow posts to breath a bit before jumping in. JK.
Are 20" going to clear the suspension on our cars? You may need a seriously positive offset.

The relay is usually in the main fuse box within the engine bay. You may have to purchase a service manual to find it. I use alldatadiy.com.
One thing you just mentioned is "...times and then it finally starts." In an earlier post it sounded like it would start and would still make that...
Can you record the noise and post it? Does it make a ticking, grinding, or clunking?
My guess if it's a ticking sound that the starter relay is bad or the starter motor.
If it's a grinding noise could be a stripped gear on the starter motor.
If it's clunking is it the v6 or i4?
