You can also remove the fuse and re insert it to reset the stereo, had that happen to my 05 equinox and it stoped taking im the CD altogether reset the fuse and viola, went ahead and installed a aftermarket stereo months later

Follow up Did you ever end up making the swap? i was curious about this too and only found the fenders to be different. Let me know i'd like to do the 08-09 SS bumper swap as well.

I have black bezel headlights installed in my 05 equinox my nox is black so it gives it a really good look, i've had them for about a year now and no problems. I went ahead and purchased matching tail lights

I had my center console painted black at a shop I strip the paint down myself, if you do so you will notice the console itself is in a black color, my equinox is all blacked out with the chrome grille and custom headlights and tail lights
