2007 key fob issue. Brand new dealer fob, only works 5 feet from car, anyone encounter this ? How do you fix it? Thanks

2007 key fob only works 5 feet from car, auto start works, it is a factory fob brand new from dealer, wondering if anyone has encountered this,and if so how did you fix it? Any information is appreciated thank you

Had a similar issue with my 06 Nox, fob function fading and sometimes would not work. Fob battery replacement didn't fix issue. Finally, opened the fob and took the circuit board out, separated it from its rubber push button surround, and with battery removed, used electrical contact cleaner on a Q-tip to clean the copper areas/contact points of the CB. Put a new battery in, reassembled the fob, and it worked like new. Hope this works for you, happy holidays.
