Carbon Black.
I told myself years ago I would never get a black car again because of the heat and how hard they are to keep clean but once I seen one that color I had to have it.

That's one thing about getting a loan from the credit union, I do not have to deal with the dealer and their finacing.

Yeah that's a fact... The dealership that I go to has a Sales manager that site in this glass office and all the Salesmen will bring the offers to him and he will counter or say yes, no.


I call him the snake in the box. But I normally just deal with the Fleet manager there. He is gotten me some real good deals.

I was actually able to get the GM discount back in early fall 09 for the Nox.. When they could not keep them on the lot... It was crazy. We would go to look at one that came in while the others were already spoken for and by the time that we got to the Stealership, it was gone.

A lot of the salesmen were mad when we drove it off the lot cause they all new that they could have sold it to a paying customer that would have beasted the sticker price just to take it home...

The wait to get it built was a long one but the wait to get it shipped is going to be worse I think.

Yeah I went all out on this as I really wanted something for the 4000 mile trips to Yellowstone and the short trips to New mexico.

That is going to be one nice car. You will love the carbon black. I have yet to see another one that color other than ours around here. I can't wait to see pics when you get it!

At first I wanted the blue that they had on the 2010 but they change it to some power blue color and that would not work.
Then I got to see a carbon black sitting in the sun and I knew that I had found the color that I had to have.
I have only seen 2 Terrains on the road around here so far and one was the 2010 red and the other one was the Onxy black.

I am really glad that you did not settle for a color that you were not 100% completely satisfied with...

Me too.
I will be stocking up on cleaning supplies so their is a down side to it.
The Cobalt could get dirty and not really look dirty but the Terrain is going to show the dirt.
Good thing I like washing my cars.

My half ton truck is black so I know what you mean... My diesel truck is white. Its muddy right now being that it is hunting season but you can hardly tell.

My Silverado is dark blue and the Equinox is carbon black, so it's a good thing I don't mind washing vehicles often. But I'm thinking my next truck will be silver. That won't show the West Texas dirt so bad.

Oh yeah thats for sure... I like my white but I think that my next truck will either be the same color of the Nox we have or Black..

I have been out in West Texas a few times when the wind was blowing the dust around and it sure can make a mess.

I have never been. Even though I have been to Arizona when I was a little boy.. I would like to go to Texas someday... have a lot of friends there.
