Ever date someone who was a very pleasant and attractive peson except for having a big crooked ,ugly nose? That's kinda how I feel about my 25' Euinox Active at the moment. I really like this car... right up to the point when my battery committeed suicide while we were on a one week trip to Tampa. When we came home the battey had died. I called AAA to come boost it and check the battery. After we got it started (which took some time) I discoved that most the systems were out on my car. I took it to the stealership the next morning. They spent three days going over it and finally found the problem. One of the central control computers was bad. Covered by wattanty... Not bad except... it's been over two weeks and the replacement part is still on backorder. Mean while, I have no navigation or OnStar services. The scariest part is they discovered that I have had no forward crash protection since having bought the car. There's probably other things out, but I just haven't found them yet. The car works fine except for those three things...

I'm currently paying for a service I cannot access (OnStar). Think I'll give them a call and discuss it. I have an out-of-town trip comng up in three weeks and would like my car to be 100% again. No navigation and diminished safety. I'm looking forward to getting it back up to 100% so I can start liking it again. OBTW... the reason the computer commponent is on back order is that Chevy has been having some problems with this particular one so replacement parts are limited. If you have a 2025 Eequinox, I suggest you make sure your forward collision system is functioning properly...

Join the club. Everyone is pissed at GM right now over crappy build quality.

Your navigation and other issues will be minor once the transaxle takes a đź’©.

I have a 2023 Chevy Blazer V6 and the transmission failed at 20,125 miles on July, 14, 2025... I have STILL not gotten it back.
It is under warranty and they pay for the rental.
Be prepared to wait.

And how do you feel about this after dropping $50k on your Blazer?

No Forward Crash Protection sounds like the airbags would not work! That I extremely concerning. I would NOT drive the car is that condition!! Get a rental till they correct that. If the dealer stalls you ask to speak to deanship owner or upper management and explain that the lack of crash protection laves them open to a HUGE lawsuit if the car is in a crash and someone is seriously injured or paralyzed. They do NOT want to pay for medical care for someone for the rest of the injured persons life! Use that as a bargaining point and get it fixed!

I lost my onstar three weeks ago along with Google. Onstar said it was most likely the communication module. It's in there right now being worked on. I'm hoping it won't take too long but I'm not confident.

I picked it up from a Chevy dealer pre certified with 15, 400 on the odometer.
I would never buy new unless I had money to burn, but even so, the whole summer is gone and GM has really screwed the pooch when it comes to parts availability.

Airbags and FCP are completely separate systems, based on the concerns you list.

Regarding paying for Onstar while not being able to use it, I would think a rebate or service extension would be obtainable.

I had a Sirius radio and had a bad antenna - it was not built into the car. I called Sirius after a few months and they sent me a new antenna and gave me 3 free months for my trouble. I never asked for that, it was offered freely.

More recently, the SDCARD went bad when my 22 nox was about 6 months old. Dealer didn't listen to me and took longer to realize it was just the card (easiest thing to try) and not a software thing. I was going on a trip and needed Nav so ordered data for the car as the built in Nav didn't work. Side note- using the car data for Android Auto was not the most reliable. When the dealer later FINALLY got me a new SDCARD, I wrote a reply to the email asking me how my service was, expressing my displeasure. The service manager gave me a credit for the money I spent on car data (I didn't ask for that either), and also said he was using my email as a training tool to show advisors and techs to listen to what customers tell them, and follow proper repair procedures.

So you can get some accommodation from these folks. Good luck

I'm pretty much in the same position. I really like this vehicle but I had an Onstar problem which required a new module. I called Onstar because the module was on backorder and asked how they were going to handle this. They told me to call back when it's repaired. They knew there was a problem with the modules and they would work with me on compensation. Still haven't had it repaired.
