I have a 2015 equinox. it is doing something i have not ran into before. As you are driving it the blower motor changes speed and the dash lights dim during daylight hours. any ideas on what to look for? also a little while back when you started it the clock was on a different time. (it would be a couple of hours off. when you would fix the time, the next time you started it it would be off again) did not know if it was related.

Thank you for your help.

Hi, tball... welcome to the forum. I don't have any insight, but I'm sure others will have some suggestions.

Welcome to the forum, tball. Both of those issues may be related to the Body Control Module (BCM) and a failure there can be caused by a weak battery. I would do the simple stuff first. Get your battery load tested. A resting voltage of 12.9V is good but what the battery voltage does under load will tell the real condition of the battery is.

I have tested battery and changed the control module behind the control head. it is still dropping out periodically. it drops to low without touching the fan speed knob. Has anybody ran into this issue before?
