Recently purchased a 2020 Equinox with a 1.5l turbo engine. Good vehicle that I really like except for one thing. Auto stop-start. I know the trick about putting shifter in L and pushing the + button 5 times. Saw a permanent fix with a short wire harness at the hood switch but am a little leery about it. Any comments? Wlill have a few questions a little later.

I hear they work with no issues or codes.
I like the auto stop feature. It helps save some fuel. I feel like I drive with it now. It did take some getting used to.

I also heard many others speak highly of the auto stop eliminators and they are pretty cheap. Luckily my 2022 has the button if I feel like turning it off. However I am with Vern, I am letting it do it's thing and saving the environment one drop of gas a t a time lol
