Daughter has a 2012 Equinox with a 3.0 six, 136K.
Oil Light came on and variable valve timing DTC codes were set, which would make sense because the VVT depends on oil to the camshaft vanes through the 2 solenoid sensors.
The oil light will stay off when cold @ idle, however when the oil heats up, light comes on. I am going to take out the sending unit and check pressure there to verify it is present, which I doubt but dotting the I's.
Any body have similiar issues ?
