So when you initialize the navigation in a new LTZ, half of the main screen is the XM radio readout, and the other half is the NAV map. Is there any way you can make this screen go back to all XM readout? I have gone into the NAV menu and tried everything. Maybe the Equinox is just smarter than me:shrug:

Push the radio band button to show just the radio.
Top driver side on the Terrain.

If you push the nave button 1 time it will show just the nav, push it again and it will show 1/2 nav 1/2 radio.

So guessing based on that answer its other all gps or half and half. No xm only option.

No if you push the radio band button it will show just the radio.

Guess I did not post that right the first time, I did a edit on it to make it easier to understand.

I can talk to it and for the first time it can talk back.
Sad thing is it's kind of like having the girlfriend in there with me.

You should try to post the invisible message trick so you don't end up in trouble like that...

She probably called you as dumbass too. : p

Just hover over the text with your pointer and click/drag so you can reveal the hidden message..

This is true... We might be screwed either way..

Did you at least turn to look over your shoulder with one of those sheepish grins?

I'll give it a try tomorrow. I tried just about everything else. Figures it would be something simple that would stump me.

No I told her I was going to call the cops and have her arrested for assault.
You should have heard what she said after that. :rotflmao:

Took me a bit to figure it out myself.
I like pushing buttons to see what they do.

Thank you so much for this info. It's so easy once you know how!! I have a new Terrain awd SLT-2 and have combed the manuals at least four times looking for a way to get the full radio screen back from the split and couldn't find a clue. I've spent hours trying to intuitively coax it back. But one thing's for sure - that console is NOT intuitive and neither are the manuals. You have solved my problem. Thanks again!
